Acheron Book 13 of the Dark Hunter series DH read #22 by Sherrilyn Kenyon Acheron and Soteria's story. Genre: Urban fantasy romance   I like my stories to tie up. But this book has so many loose ends, it made me think that, one, S, Kenyon is losing her touch. Or, two, she was under too much pressure to write this book. Either way, this book did not rate very high. I would not recommend this book to a new S. Kenyon fan or anybody who has not read her work yet. It would put them off.   For one, in chapter 9, where Tory commented: "The tall blond who can't shoot hoops?" How did Tory knew that, when the description or any mention about him can't shoot hoops, was made after the comment! There are many other loose ends like that, but I won't give out spoilers. So, if you are a long time Dark Hunter fan already, borrow this book rather than buy. Not worth the money. On the positive side, it mentioned in the end, about Zarek and other Dark Hunters which went a long way in alleviating my ire. Caption at the back reads: Eleven thousand years ago a god was born. One Silent Night Book 14 of the Dark Hunter series DH read #23 by Sherrilyn Kenyon Story of Strykerious (son of Apollo) and Zephyra (the demon). Spoilers Alert!!! My review: This book was actually an enjoyable read. Once I got over the nonsense plot that kick-started the story. And hanging on with a death grip on to the romantic thought that this is Strykerious, the-bad-guy-gone-hero, we're talking about here. Then, yes it was an enjoyable read. For goodness sake! Nobody can get into Kalosis without express invitation. That is why Stryker has to hold Zephyra's hand to take her to Kalosis. Then, in the openning gambit, Medea and Zephyra flashed into Kalosis and suprised attacked Stryker!?! So how were they suppose to have done that? I think that needs to be explained properly to the readers. A reasonable explanation is needed so that the readers do not get irritated with plots that don't make sense!!
